Advanced Tutorials for OM2 & OM4 Graduates

Advanced Tutorial

The Sunshine Coast Haematology and Oncology Clinic (SCHOC) on Buderim, Sunshine Coast QLD, is the new venue for QLD’s Advanced Tutorial. Established in 1998, Sunshine Coast Haematology and Oncology Clinic, was the first free-standing day-hospital in Queensland, specifically designed for patients receiving treatment for haematology (blood) and oncology (cancer) conditions. SCHOC’s reputation for professional care, and knowledgeable and compassionate staff, have patients coming from all regions of SE QLD, as well as from overseas (whilst on holiday), for treatment.

A revised format with new information and experiences; utilising the resources available in this state of the art Day Hospital. Experience massaging clients in the Specialist rooms, and enjoy the beautiful vista available to patients during treatment.

The Advanced Tutorial has been developed to provide Therapists (OM2 and above) with advanced training in Oncology Massage, building upon skills learnt in Oncology Massage Modules One and Two. A special emphasis on post treatment care, with new and advanced techniques taught to ensure greater, longer lasting results for clients experiencing range of motion issues, impaired skin health, CIPN, insomnia and more.  Please click here for the full QLD Advanced Tutorial information sheet.

Working daily with the unique experiences that Oncology Massage brings has brought a high level of awareness to Tania’s work, as well as building a profound knowledge base from which to draw upon. She has developed advanced rehabilitative techniques based on this experience and, working holistically, uses them for scar mobilisation; range of movement difficulties and other issues that may arise from the treatment of cancer.
