Oncology Massage Module 1

For an OM1, we need a massage table for every 2 students. In the first instance, we assume you are bringing a table - so, if you are not, please notify your Course Facilitator so we know how many tables will be available.

Every student should bring appropriate Manchester - three separate amounts of linen for three practical sessions. This should include enough linen to cover the table and accessories, linen to cover the recipients of your massage, and pillows and bolsters for additional comfort. Our suggestion is as follows:

  • 2 x pillows with 6 x covers, OR 1 x pillow with 3 x covers and 1 x bolster with 3 x covers
  • Face hole pad and 3 x protectors
  • 3 x sheets
  • 3 x large towels or bath sheets
  • 3 x hand towels
  • 1 x light blanket.

Oncology Massage Module 2

Mini Tutorials

For a Mini Tute, we need a massage table for every 2 students. In the first instance, we assume you are bringing a table - so, if you are not, please notify your Course Facilitator immediately so we know how many tables will be available.

Every student should bring appropriate Manchester. This should include enough linen to set up the table, cover accessories and the person they are working on.  We suggest two pillows (can be substituted with bolsters), linen for how you would normally set the table up and two large towels to cover your client.
