Module One
Sorrel, New Zealand, April 2011
Many massage therapists have been taught in their training that they cannot touch a cancer patient. This is deeply regrettable for the patient. This course gives the massage therapist the confidence and permission to treat cancer clients.
Felicity, Sydney, March 2011
YES…we need more OM Therapists! Not enough nurturing happens in the clinical/hospital setting at the moment. I have two clients living with cancer (so now) I have more confidence to meet their needs as the journey to recovery progresses.
Barry, Adelaide, March 2011
We need more trained people to assist people with cancer. Dispell the myths and provide a solid scientific basis for the work. Alternative views of cancer and treatments were challenging but important to know. (The) presenters, Kate and Tubi, were great, patient, compassionate and committed with indepth knowledge.
Natalie, Frankston, March 2011
I think all massage therapists should do this, to see what can be done, even with this nasty disease, and to (learn to) slow down again.
Sarah, Buderim, March 2010
For myself as a therapist who’s parents have both had or have cancer, this gives me the confidence to use my skills to help those I love, without my fear of creating problems for them. The program helped me on both a personal and professional level. To confidently use my skills to help those I love. Professionally to know that this work is definitely the direction I want to take.
Kate, Daylesford, February 2010
This course is an excellent combination of science and intuition/feeling. Very exciting!
Thank-you
Virginia, Daylesford, February 2010
OM is a completely different type of massage. It is designed so the patient can surrender to complete relaxation. You certainly won’t learn this in a massage school.
Module Two
Heidi, Perth, July 2010
It’s a great mix of science, new information, practical good sense, emotional information, practice, a great amount of information and passion.
Ros, Perth, July 2010
The knowledge that was shared about being with vulnerable people was outstanding. The greatest value of the program was being with others with the same belief systems.
Marion, Brisbane, October 2009
Cancer is becoming more common and more health professionals would benefit (from this program) as much as the patients. Of greatest value was learning about the choices we make and that our patients can make.
Module Three
Judy, Sydney, March 2010
(Eleanor is) Passionate about what she is doing so that it is infectious, Makes difficult concepts easy to understand
Christine, Sydney, March 2010
It is extremely well run with a strong basis in leading edge science, and a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for clients

I thoroughly enjoyed the massage…. prior to being sick, I’ve always had ‘hard’ massages, thinking that is you felt it hard, it must be doing some good! Whereas today’s massage acheived it all. The gentle movements were very effective. I’d forgotten how important a massage is for your health.
J. Weatherby, Sydney, May 2011
Kimberley has magic, soothing hands, working her way up from my toes to my head. So relaxing - would recommend to anyone but especially women with breast cancer.
Anon, Sydney, April 2011
Wonderful massage, very gentle. Never expected that I would enjoy gentle massage but it’s wonderful. Also learned that I could still have massage for cancer as I was told that I should not have massage after I was diagnosed…
Anon, Sydney, April 2011
Claudia’s touch was very gentle and nuturing which was really relaxing. I even took my wig off - something I NEVER do. I just connected really well with Claudia and trusted her immediately!
Yvonne, Sydney, April 2011
This was the most wonderful exprience. I, now, am totally committed to changing my life. Bravo! Bravo! to Eleanor for organising this occasion and to Linda my masseur extraordinaire. It is indeed rare to fine individuals whose talents and abilities are perfectly matched to the tasks before them. Well done and much appreciated.
Anon, Queensland, April 2011
Totally relaxing….I think I fell asleep! It was very gentle and thorough right from the introduction. Thanks for inviting me Tania…it’s a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday. Well organised!
Anon, Queensland, April 2011
Well organised, and it flowed well from meeting my therapist, answering questions and transitioning to the massage table. Therapist was considerate when geting me prepared. the time spent on each area was well spaced and the ‘massage’ was beautifully soothing and her hands were warm and gentle with even pressure throughout. I felt confident with the treatment, my therapist was friendly and a pleasure to be introduced to. Left me with a totally relaxed feeling, totally “zoned” out.
Glynis, Queensland, April 2011
This was a most relaxing and healing experience. Katies touch was very competent, confident and comforting. She helped me feel relaxed and at ease. The room and experience as very calming…So gentle and calming it puts your body and mind in a whole new place.
Anon, Queensland, July 2010
I found today’s session with R to be one of extreme relaxation - which is usually not easy for me to achieve. The warmth and steady soft nature of the massage, coupled with the evenness of pressure and tempo made for a most nurtured session!
Marilyn, Queensland, July 2010
A very relaxed and enjoyable session. The therapist was very thorough in her questions and understood my situation. The massage was gentle and I feel I could find a spot in the sun, curl up and go to sleep!
Brigitte, Sydney, April 2010
The massage was exceptional, especially on my abdomen. I felt really relaxed and in good hands. Thank you!
Anon, Sydney, April 2010
Wonderful massage - very relaxing and helpful to my back which had been very sor because of enlarged lymph glands. Foot massage was also great as feet feel very think and heavy at the moment.
P Cottee, Sydney, April 2010
I found the massage to my legs and feet really relaxing. The unhurried nature of the therapy was very comforting and I noticed a reduction in swelling and discomfort by the end of the session. My thereapist was very concerned for my comfort and extremely efficient.
Ken, Brisbane, October 2009
I came with some tension problems and I already have considerable relief. The combination of various types of massage seems to work very well. Thank you for the opportunity to be involved.
Jennifer, Brisbane, October 2009
Wonderful experience! Thank you to Jo who made me very relaxed and energised by her massage. I have had very few previous massages, however I have been enlightened and believe I should treat myself to this world of healing. Thank you to everyone concerned with this opportunity.

Terry, Brisbane, October 2009
It’s been a while since I had a massage so I now realise what I’m missing out on or maybe it’s because I had a really good experience with the lady that gave me a really good massage. Thank-you so very much and I will be available any time especially with the same lady.
