It’s Official…Oncology Massage Training is the very proud signatory to a contract with Austin Health in Melbourne where the first stage of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre is due to open in mid-2012. This is an Australian first and has been the culmination of months and years of dedication from Eleanor and the OMT team.

The first OM3 and OM4 group will go through in March and April and were selected from a very keen group of experienced therapists by the OMT teaching team. A second group will be selected later in the year so if you have completed OM2 and got some experience under your belt, let us know you’re interested.  

 

Oncology Massage Training Introduction

One in four Australians will experience cancer in their lifetime and all touch therapists will benefit from our specialist training in oncology massage techniques.

Oncology Massage Training (OMT) prepares you to work with the growing number of Australians experiencing cancer. Massage does not spread cancer and OMT explains the science of cancer and cancer treatments as well as developing your skills in oncology massage. CEP with AAMT AMT ATMS BTFA. CPE from Massage Australia.   

The Course Dates page lists the programmed courses for Modules 1 to 4. Changes may be made from time to time dependant upon interest and venue availability.  

All course numbers are limited to ensure that the quality of Oncology Massage Training is maintained.  To secure your place, your enrolment form must be returned to the Administrator, along with a deposit or full payment.  A confirmation letter will be sent to you once the minimum course numbers have been achieved.
